The unexpected landfall of Coronavirus in India has trapped the country in various problems. Be it the medical infrastructure, sulking economy, unemployment, agrarian catastrophe, stranded migrant workers, or the fake news menace, to name a few. To face these challenges wisely, the young minds of India started with different initiatives to solve the crisis-like situation. Here is a list of few fundraiser projects by college students during the coronavirus pandemic.
1. Project Dhwani
Project Dhwani is an initiative by the college band of Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune. The agenda behind this project is to raise funds for the production of PPE kits, face shields, and masks for India's frontline COVID-19 warriors. For each donation that you make, you can request a cover of your favorite song or maybe dedicate your loved one's their favorite song. Let them sing for you and you can change the world.

2. Protecting those who protect us
This is an initiative by the students of IIT Delhi. They aim to protect our front line workers, who are working day and night to protect us from the virus. They are targeting to distribute 1,00,000 face shields to front line workers across the city of Delhi. At the moment, they have distributed 35,000 face shields and generated an amount of Rs. 8.01 Lacs. Let's come together and help them achieve their goal.

3. Online Fundraiser
This is an initiative by the students of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. They are raising funds to provide food to stranded homeless families at the Rajasthan-Delhi borders as well as the stranded migrant workers. Let's do our bit.

4. Play For A Cause
This is an initiative by two college students. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to about 2000 sex workers impacted severely by the lockdown due to restraints caused to their job.
