No, we aren't talking about movies, but something much bigger. Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty have come forward to support Mumbai’s dabbawalas amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Prema Cha Dabba, an initiate by Bollywood actors, is sure to melt your heart.
'Prema Cha Dabba' started by Suniel Shetty and Sanjay Dutt along with Cabinet minister of Maharashtra, Aslam Shaikh is a drive to help Mumbai's dabbawalas. The initiative aims at providing meals to the affected dabbawalas and their families. ‘Prema Cha Dabba’ becomes even more beautiful when everyone gets together, said Suniel as reported by Hindustan Times.
With a well planned 3 month plan, the actors have aimed to provide meals to at least 5,000 families during these difficult times. The team has already delivered 800 kits of lentils, rice, flour, oil, and sugar to the dabbawalas that have camped in Pune. The NGO, Save The Children India has been actively helping the Prema Cha Dabba initiative. Their staff members are taking care of the on-ground operation.
Talking about Bollywood films, both the actors have had a busy schedule. While Sanjay Dutt is back with Sadak 2 starring Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur, Suniel Shetty will be seen with John Abraham in the film Saga.
