The past four months haven't been easy for any of us, but the front line warriors have done everything they can to keep us safe. From doctors, nurses to police persons, and sanitation workers, they are the real heroes fighting this pandemic. And to pay tribute to them, St+art India teamed up with Asian Paints and painted a mural of Heroes of Mumbai at Mahim Station.
The project has been going on since June and is finally completed, giving Mahim station a new identity. With beautiful use of the primary colours and the heroes in the monochrome shade, this mural is a thoughtful tribute to all those working through the pandemic.
Be it the doctors treating critical patients, or the nurses taking care of everyone till they are recovered. The police personals who make sure no one violates the protocols or the sanitation worker who risks their lives to clean our rides or be it the delivery persons who make sure our essentials are stocked. If these heroes were not on the ground, we would be in much deeper trouble.
The beautiful mural titled Heroes of Mumbai has been painted by Mural artists Munir Bukhari and Nikunj Prajapati. The two have been behind the project for over a month and are now proud to reveal it to the Mumbaikars.
Mahim is an iconic station in Mumbai, and this mural is just a cherry on top of the cake. Be sure to check out the mural once the pandemic is over and thank all the heroes who helped us fight this deadly virus.
