On the occasion of World AIDS Day, contribute your bit by helping these NGOs that are working for AIDS-free India.
India is the second most populated and third largest HIV infected country in the world. With nearly 2.1 million people living with HIV, the most cases are found in Maharashtra and the border areas of North Karnataka. Unfortunately, the country still lacks the health and sex education that should be provided to eradicate this disease from its roots. Several organizations, though, have been working to provide HIV treatment to the sex workers, but the result is far away from being satisfactory. On the occasion of World AIDS Day, let's pledge to remove the stigma around the disease, and let's have a look at these NGOs that are working for AIDS-free India.
