Park on the debut film of Soumitra Chatterjee
The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HIDCO) is, however, yet to decide the execution of the theme. The body has invited suggestions from bidders to decide if there would be 3D installations or other techniques. The final project will be commissioned after receiving all the applications from bidders. Mostly, the theme that would be able to retain the flavour of the film would be selected for the park.
The veteran Bengali actor had passed away on November 15 at the age of 85 after being critical for a while.
Theme parks to pay tribute
HIDCO has already built 'Sonar Kella Park' with the images from Satyajit Ray's 1974 classic movies. And, the construction of 'Professor Shonku Park’ is also underway. Professor Shonku was a fictional character in Satyajit Ray's film.
