To give a positive message to the society regarding the birth of a girl child, Gwalior salon owner offered free services on January 4.
People celebrate the birth of a child with great zeal in India. However, the birth of a girl child is still seen as a curse to the family in some parts of the country. Herein, giving a positive message to the society, a Gwalior salon owner offered free services to celebrate the birth of his girl child.
The owner of three salons in Gwalior, (MP) Salman, gave free hair cuts in all his salons on January 4. He also put a poster outside his shop regarding free services. The poster said, "Free services will be available to customers on January 4 to welcome the birth of a girl child at our home."
Salman said to ANI, a news agency, that he wanted to give the message that the birth of a girl child brings immense happiness. And, people should not be sad on the birth of a girl child.
Gwalior salon owner offered free services worth Rs 3,500!
Salman gave free hair cuts to almost 70 to 80 people on January 4. The total cost incurred for the services was Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,500. The customers reaching the salons also lauded the move by Salman.
Salman's daughter was born on December 26, 2020. He, then, decided to celebrate it by making his three salons free. He also told ANI that people should feel happy about the birth of a child irrespective of its gender.
