Palace on Wheels has reduced the price of tickets for February, March, and April.
Luxury train Palace On Wheels has decided to shift its focus from foreign to domestic travellers owing to the pandemic. The train is creating a new itinerary and offering a discount from February.
To serve the domestic tourists, the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) is offering a 30% discount on tickets. The offers will be valid for three months.
According to the itinerary planned, the train will start from Delhi to Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Agra and will be back to Delhi. In the four day trip, Udaipur will be an additional destination after Jaipur.
Palace On Wheels in just Rs 52,360 for individuals
For February and March, the per-day rates will get down to Rs 94,248 for a couple in a super deluxe cabin. For a single person, the rate will be 52,360. Whereas, the rate will be 34,034 per person for double occupancy seats.
The rates will be even lower in April as it is considered as an offseason. It will cost Rs 70,686 for a couple in the super deluxe cabin after a 30% discount. However, the charges in single and double occupancy seats, per person, will be 42,840 and Rs 26,180, respectively.
The luxury train was first launched on 26 January 1982. However, RTDC had again launched it in 2008 with new interior and routes.
