Giving a twist to your regular desi chowmein, this koyle wali aka the Tandoori chowmein is packed with flavours, and will satiate your spice cravings!
The Boss Cafe was started by Mohit and his wife Mahek Arora in 2019 when they decided to leave their corporate jobs for the love of food. They opened this eatery, & since then there's no looking back. Their epic Tandoori Chowmien is unique, and we love it!
It is cooked with veggies, home-made tandoori masala, vinegar, and lime juice. Once all the ingredients are well cooked, the chef adds the boiled noodles. After which the chowmein is stir-fried to perfection.
The final part is the most satisfying part of the whole cooking process. A small piece of charcoal is burnt and kept inside a small bowl in the chowmein. Right after that, a dollop of butter is kept inside. The chowmein sucks in the smokiness of charcoal, and that's how the tandoori flavours linger in it. The smoky flavour is heavenly, and goes perfect with the chewiness of chowmein!
Other than this delicious chowmein, you can also get your hands on their pizza momos, chilli Potato, Bhutani Momos, baked cheese pasta, and Tandoori momos.
The Boss Cafe doesn't have a proper seating arrangement, but the duo is working hard to convert it into a bigger cafe soon. If you are craving for good desi Chinese, and something hatke, not trying this cafe would be a big loss.
The quantity of all their food items is fantastic, the price is pocket-friendly, and the taste is delicious. Eating this smoky Tandoori Chowmien in Delhi winters would be a soul-satiating experience. So, what are you waiting for? Head to this budget-friendly eatery if you are anywhere in Delhi, and help this power couple convert it into a seating cafe!
