On Saturday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority(DDMA) came up with the new guidelines for phase 5 of Delhi unlock, allowing gyms to operate on 50% capacity.
After the decline in the Covid-19 positivity rate, the Delhi government has decided to further relax the COVID-19 restrictions with its new guidelines. On Saturday, The Delhi Disaster Management Authority(DDMA) introduced a fresh set of guidelines in the national capital of the country for the 5th phase of Delhi unlock.
The Delhi government has allowed the gyms and yoga institutes to open while maintaining protocol and strict compliance with COVID-19. It is indeed a sigh of relief for all those who weren't able to visit gyms and not even parks due to the lockdown. Now people can plan on their marriages at banquet halls and other halls with a maximum of 50 guests. The owners of these Gymnasiums, yoga institutes, and banquet halls, will be responsible for making sure that the visitors are following a Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
What's allowed and what's not allowed as per the new guidelines:
- Gym and yoga institutes are allowed to operate at 50% capacity.
- Marriage halls, banquet halls, and hotels have can hold weddings with not more than 50 people.
- Ceremonies with a maximum of 50 guests have been given a green flag too.
- The restaurants and bars will continue to function with the 50% seating capacity cap.
The restrictions on the Metro will continue for at least one more week. DDMA also mentioned that the other prohibited and restricted activities will continue until July 5th. Currently, Delhi has 1,568 active cases. According to the health bulletin, Delhi has seen 14,07,401 recoveries and 24,965 deaths as of now. While the positivity rate stands at 0.12%.
