Co-ordinated clothes or Co-ords are the ruling fashion trend. They are the easiest and the most comfortable outfit to put together for anything and everything. From being a monotonous, dull, corporate style, co-ords are now a minimal fashion making their way to everyone's wardrobe. Runways to bedrooms, co-ords have been leaving a mark.
No doubt that they are the perfect work-from-home outfit to switch between casual and formal. The co-ord instantly sets the mood of working from home on days you need that extra push, yet too lazy to go ahead and find the perfect balance of home-office outfit. At the same time, they are formal enough for a Zoom meeting or a LIVE session. Whether it is a traditional pantsuit, a crop top with pants/palazzo, or a crop top with a skirt, there is something for everyone. Trust me, co-ords are wedding functions approved too! Especially the ones we attend online in 2021. The ethnic touch to everyday casual outfits makes them an ideal fuss-free option.
We have curated co-ord looks from an affordable local fashion brand from Surat, Raisin. The cotton and Khadi crop tops with pants, palazzo or skirt are a perfect blend of traditional and modern structure.
To get our hands-on, we tried three of their co-ord sets. Teal Bead Work Flaired Skirt Top that we picked can be a good option for a light function. If you want to go on an ethnic side, add statement Jhumkas, tie up your hair, and complete the look with juttis or ace an indo-western outfit, add minimalist contemporary pair of earrings, a light neck chain, and neutral tone footwear.
The other two that we picked were Crop Top & Pant Set; Rust Cotton & Grey cotton. You can keep these as your easy-breezy long drive, cafe hopping, airport look. Style it boho with scarves and headbands, a fanny pack, and comfortable shoes. For formal meeting attire, add a watch, ear studs, and go for oxfords or flats for footwear.
So go ahead and take outfit inspiration for your next big presentation, a virtual brunch, or a friend's wedding function you have to attend.
