1. St. Xavier's College, Mumbai
This college has to be the favourite college of Bollywood as most of the college scenes are shot here. The amazing song showing the best of friendship between Rahu, Tina, and Anjali, from KKHH, was shot here! Yes, we are talking about the song, 'Koi Mil Gaya'. Not only this but St. Xavier's has also been the location for the song 'I love you' from Mujhse Dosti Karoge and most of the scenes of Student Of The Year 2 and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na!
2. Pangong Lake, Ladakh
Who can forget the last scene of 3 Idiots where Rancho, Farhan, and Raju finally meet! What a perfect reunion scene on the banks of the beautiful lake! The Pangong lake of Ladakh takes pretty much credit for making the reunion much more beautiful and heartwarming. Yes, you can also beat your friend as they did Rancho!
3. Hadimba temple, Manali
We know you would have guessed the movie by now! It's none other than the most recent movie which redefined modern friendship, 'Ye Jawani hai Deewani'. Remember the scene where Bunny tries to explain to Naina about his concept of marriage and the whole fight that follows afterwards? Yes, the scene has been shot around this temple which lies at the foot of the Himalayas.
4. Chapora Fort and Fort Aguada, Goa
Since you were thinking why we did not take the name of this movie when talking about friendship. So, here we are! 'Dil Chahta Hai' had many scenes that reflected the power of friendship. And, the one where the three friends could be seen peacefully enjoying the time and watching the ship sailing in the sea together was shot in Chapora fort. A few scenes featuring the friends were also shot in Aguada fort. Missing such a peaceful time with your friends? We too!
5. Bandra Fort, Mumbai

Remember the scene where Aditi was sitting tense and comes from behind, which seemed like rock caves? It was the Bandra fort situated in Mumbai. The movie has also captured the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, where the whole gang was seen having fun but guess what? The sea link which appears today was not built at that time!
6. India Gate
India Gate has, no doubt, been taken in so many films while showing the lives in Delhi but the one shown in 'Rang De Basanti' truly wakens the vibes of friendship as all the friends were seen having fun and going on long drives and passing India Gate often. Delhites, we are sure it's also your favorite place to hang out with friends!
7. Marine Drive
As India Gate is for Delhi, Marine Drive is for Mumbai. This place always has a special mention in the movies for showing lives in Mumbai. 'Wake up Sid', which was centred in Mumbai, has the initial scenes capturing Marine Drive where Sid and his friends can be seen living life carefree and to its fullest around Marine Drive. However, later in the movie, the friendship between Sid and Aisha has also been captured at this place. Truly, a buddy place!
