August Picks: Mrinil Mathur shares her tale of styling one outfit in many ways!

August was all about the festival and traveling for me. What started as a two-day trip to a cousin's wedding, I ended up spending 15+days celebrating many festivals and attending dinner parties in my hometown. With a bag set for wedding-appropriate outfits, it felt like a test to reusing to survive one fashion emergency a day and styling one outfit in many ways.

Thus, the clothes and accessories mentioned below from some local homegrown brands will be my absolute favorite forever. I wish I had clicked enough pictures of the same, but how about you try products and share with us how you style them.

PS. Links for each are shared with their name.

White Bishop-Sleeve Top By StyleIsland - I had this with me for travel purposes. And trust me, I ended up wearing it for a work shoot, a dinner party, and a zoom conference. For the shoot, I paired it with ripped jeans and heels to keep it semi-casual. For the dinner party, I paired it with a blue ethnic skirt by Indya (details mentioned below). Lastly, for the video conference, I paired with the pyjama; well, you know the trick to attending online events.

Angrakha Kurta by Bhama Couture - I had this mustard Angarakha kurta and paired it with Banarasi dupatta for the Haldi ceremony. I wore it simple with statement gold earrings, and voila, I had a different outfit for Rakhi.

Indya Mix and Match - I have always loved Indya's outfit for its range and mix and match options. I had put together a look for the wedding with its ethnic crop topethnic skirt, and a full-length shrug. I cannot tell you in how many ways I reused the top with saree, palazzo, skirt and, as I mentioned above, paired the skirt with a white top.

Kurta by Bombay Paisley, Westside - Wear a kurta with legging while running for errands, use a Banarasi dupatta and statement earring for family dinner, put on a waist belt to use it as a dress for dinner with friends, and kurta has lived a life no one imagined while purchasing. That's what happened with my Kurta by Bombay Paisley.

Amama Krisha Earings by Amama - This pair of white statement earrings that is trending on Instagram helped me amp up my outfit several times in the last two weeks. I wore it with sarees, kurtas, and dresses. They are a blessing in disguise.

I am super impressed with these products and the brands for having such versatile outfits. They saved me from the hassle of shopping as I was styling one outfit in many ways.
