Dine-in with a poolside view, in a cozy, and pleasing ambiance at Masaledaar Modern India Kitchen & Bar in Thane that serves lip-smacking North Indian & Indo-Chinese cuisines, delicious Thalis, and a lot more.
Located within the premises of the Thane club, Masaledaar Modern India Kitchen & Bar is perfect for a scrumptious meal with friends and family. The eatery has a gorgeous ocean blue interior and comfy swing seating, which gives a rather rustic charm to the place and blends well with the overall decor. Along with a fabulous ambiance, great food, and a stocked bar, Masaledaar is a must-visit for all right reasons. We recently enjoyed a happy meal at this restaurant, and here's what we have to say!
Starters!
Popeye Ki Favourite chaat- The Palak chaat is a table-side finished dish aka served as Cart French style. It was sauteed in liquid nitrogen to add the extra crisp and had the right amount of spice and flavor. The next appetizer was the Ajwani tiger Jheenga. The prawns were fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The spices were appropriate, and they very well impacted flavor. The best part about this one was that the flavors were not overpowering the prawns. To keep the dish warm, it was served on burning coals. The extra charcoal flavor was pretty welcoming!
Main Course!
Lahori Murg was indeed an authentic rendition of a classic. The Lahori spices and rich flavors were a delight! The dish was worthy of being mopped up in its entirety by the last pieces of the Tandoori Roti. The boneless chicken cubes were marinated and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed this dish with Pink Garlic Naan, and it went well with it!
Pindi Chole with Pink Garlic Naan- The taste of Amritsari Chole with the soft pink garlic naan was quite authentic. The combination was wonderful, and the portion size was enough to serve three people. The mains were not only delicious but also looked great!
Desserts!
Jalebi with saffron Rabri: This dessert came with a really interesting concept. Served in a cocktail glass, the saffron Rabri was made into a light foam and was nestled on a bed a Jalebis. The Rabri was packed with flavors, and the Jalebis were absolutely crisp. This combination really did wonders!
Kulfi falooda 2.0- Kulfi falooda is a fusion concept where the Kulfi was in semi-liquid form. It was sauteed in liquid nitrogen, which turned it into solid ice cream. The ice cream had falooda, pistachios, and other dry fruits as its topping, and added the needed richness and crunch. A complete sugar rush, we would say!
