1. 200 kids to run Rajasthan Assembly on Children's Day
Ahead of Children's Day, around 200 schools kids have been selected by the Rajasthan government to run the state assembly at various designations. The kids will constitute Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, leader of the opposition, etc. The session which will broadcast Live on the YouTube channel of the Rajasthan Assembly will also have questions and zero hours.
2. Chennai chef wins Lifetime Achievement Award in London for culinary contribution
Kothandaraman Damodaran, also known as Chef Damu has received the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' at the Global Food, Hospitality, and Tourism Achievements 2021 in London. The award has been given to him for his important contributions in the culinary sector. Chef Damu has hosted multiple shows and has judged more than 10,000 cooking contests. He has also written 29 cookery books.
3. Two Indians win Gold at Asian Sailing Championships in Oman
Varun Thakkar and KC Ganapathy have won the Gold medal at the 2021 Asian 49er Sailing Championships that was held in Mussanah, Oman. They have topped in a fleet of 30 teams including Non-Asian teams in racing. However, this is not the first time that they have secured medals in an Asian Championship. They have won a Gold in 2018 and a Silver in 2019 before.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has proposed a draft to start subtitles in TV channels to increase the accessibility among the hearing-impaired. The channels will have to ensure that they are providing either subtitle, close captioning, or sign language for the people, apart from the Live content and sports.
5. Srinagar gets into the list of UNESCO creative cities for its craft and folk art
Srinagar has been included in UNESCO's creative cities list for its craft and folk art. The inclusion has been done due to the cultural ethos of Srinagar. After this, the city has become the second in India after Jaipur to be included in the list. On the other hand, Mumbai has been included in the Film category while Chennai and Varanasi are in the UCCN for music.
