If you are looking for a cozy cafe in Mumbai, don't miss out on Cafe 49, Juhu!

This cute little cafe in Juhu has our hearts. In the lane of fancy restaurants, Cafe 49, is a cozy place that will make you fall for it for its casual dining.

To enter Cafe 49, first, you’ll see a little blue door decorated with artificial pink blooms and it would be a pretty frame for your pretty pictures. As you walk in, you can see a Wings mural on the right and it is another corner of the cafe where you can get clicked. Overall the cafe has been decorated in blue and pink theme and you will find it in many of their elements. 

As they say, don’t judge a book by its cover, don’t think Cafe 49 is only for food or desserts, they also do offer delicious cocktails, so do not miss out on slurping them. We would recommend you order Shooting Star, Uptown Martini, and Virgin Kiss.

We tried their Crispy Herbed Mushrooms and they went quite well with our cocktails.

If you are someone who loves Mediterranean food, we think you drool over Hummus. So, if that’s the case, do order a Trio of Hummus & Pita. The platter looks so colourful because of the 3 kinds of Hummus and the presentation is simple yet on point. 

On the recommendation of the staff, next, we tried Salsa Pani Puri. Though, we were a little apprehensive while ordering because what if they mess up such a go-to street food. But to our pleasant surprise, this dish was oh so yum, and we would surely suggest you taste it too.

Last, from the food menu, we called for Spinach Corn & Feta crepe, and if you want to eat something light on your tummy, do try this out. 

How could we end our food visit without indulging ourselves in a dessert? For all the coffee lovers out there, do not forget to keep space in your stomach to devour this. We ordered Coffee Mascarpone and were drooled by its presentation. The dessert has an edible coffee cup loaded with Mascarpone and we think you would love it and it is surely one Instagrammazing dessert. 

Cafe 49 also has a bakery and you can always order cakes, pastries, croissants, and more to either a quick bite at the eatery or takeaway.

P.S.: A special mention to the staff at Cafe 49 as they were warm, courteous, and recommended the best of dishes to us. They made sure we have a great time.
