Drinks and more

The concept at Grill & Tonics is all about quenching your thirst with their amazing mocktails and cocktails and, at the same time, beating your hunger pangs with piping hot plates of grills, kebabs, and hot pots. Since we were already pretty high on their gorgeous ambience, we decided to keep it light with mocktails. The one we personally adored the most was Thrice The Love, a sour and orangy drink that changes its colour as you stir it. Other than that, the Green Fizz and Thai Cold Brew are also a treat to the tastebuds.

Kebab shebabs

As we were short on time, we requested the staff to serve us quickly, and the team didn't disappoint us. The service here is pretty fast, and the food is scrumptious. We started off with a plate of Shish Tawook, which was served with sumac onion, toum, and green peppers. We loved it, and it was simply one of the best chicken kebabs we've ever tried. The pepper was a good addition for those who like it spicy and tingling. A dish you shouldn't miss!

The Chicken Pide is another good option if you are craving some pizzas. The grilled chicken with roasted red peppers won't disappoint, and the cheesy hint of fresh mozzarella will keep it all chewy and fun. You can also try their Malai Mawa Seekh if you are up for a sweet twist on your plate. This tender seekh is served with mixed berry chutney and is something different.

Though the main course section doesn't have many options, as the concept is more about enjoying your drinks with starters, The Korean Hot Stone Pot is a must-try. Served steaming hot with a choice of noodles and rice, this hot pot was a nothing but a delight. The noodles were slurpy, and the classic black sauce with veggies and chicken was like a comforting hug. Eat this one if you are still hungry. From the dessert section, the Baklavas are a must-try. As one plate comes with just one piece, we'll suggest you order a couple of Baklavas because it's quite close to authentic ones, and we loved them.

Our Food note:

As the restaurant is on the 7th floor, it would have been a delight to dine under the sky. The space has a high ceiling decorated with artificial planters, and even though it feels pretty, we wish it was all open and brighter. But overall, Grill & Tonic is a beautiful place to dig in some heartwarming food and fabulous drinks. Plan a visit next weekend with your family because you won't regret it :)
