1. Chopta Valley
Chopta Valley also known as Mini Switzerland is a beautiful valley located in Uttarakhand. This place is breathtakingly enchanting, the snow-capped hills, everything is indeed quite peaceful. The iconic "Main udna chahta hu, daudna chahta hu, girna bhi chahta hu , bas rukna nahi chahta" scene was shot here. The cinematography captured the beauty of this place so well that we just can't wait to go there!
2. Lake Palace, Udaipur
Lake Palace is a beautiful heritage hotel in Udaipur that used to be a summer palace for the royal dynasty of Mewar. The iconic sunset scene in the movie happens here and we still cannot get over how beautiful it felt! The sunset scene was important as it basically established the contradictory personalities of Bunny and Naina but also how those differences make them even more perfect for each other. "Life me Jitna bhi try Karo, kuch na kuch toh chootega hi, Isliye yahi issi pal ka mazza lete hai " this line hits so hard and makes us want to visit this place and have our own Bunny Naina moment! It was indeed one of our favourite locations of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
3. Udaipur
Udaipur is popular because of its heritage and culture. The shopping scene of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was shot in Udaipur and was undoubtedly one of the most important scenes in the film as it reignites the spark between Naina and Bunny after a long gap! This scene further established the differences between the characters with the line "Tu right nahi hai bas mujhse thodi alag hai".
4. Manali
We have all dreamt about a Manali trip with our friends and this scene just made us want it even more! Manali is one beautiful hill station that offers picturesque views and adventure activities. The famous trekking scene in Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani was shot here and we still cannot forget it! It was so surreal and one of our favourite shooting locations of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
5. Oberoi Udaivilas
Oberoi Udaivilas is a luxury resort in Udaipur that looks straight out of a movie! Well technically it is in a movie so there's that but you get what we mean right? Who wouldn't want to get married here to the love of their life and of course a surprise dance by a friend like Bunny! Aditi and Tarun's wedding was shot here and gave us the iconic cinematography of the song Kabira.
