After a long, tiring day, if all you want is a piping hot plate of dim sums, some fluffy baos, and ramen, or basically anything Asian, including something nice to drink, head to Yazu Pan Asian Supper Club in Andheri because it's our new favourite stop for Sushis and more.
Weekend calls for a fun, delicious, and memorable meal, and if you are up for some really good Japanese, Korean, Thai, and other Asian food, Yazu Pan Asian Supper Club can be a good place to be. This casual dining restaurant and resto-bar have beautiful interiors with multiple comfy seating arrangements spread over the area. The restaurant also features an open bar where you can enjoy some fun options like Bhut Jolokia Mule and more. It was a hectic day at work last Thursday, and so we decided to gorge on some Asian food and went to Yazu. Here's what we loved!!!
Bite-sized goodness
You have to try the Cream cheese truffle dumpling if you love cheesy bites. This dumpling was pure bliss, and we loved how the hint of truffle made the gooey and creamy filling of cheese flavourful. Extra Soy points for the beautiful blue colour it had. Up next was the Crispy Nori Spring rolls, and it was indeed a very crispy bite. The flavourful filling of noodles with finely grated vegetables was just how it is supposed to be, and we loved its moist and classic flavour.
Your feast at Yazu won't be complete without trying their sushis, and they have a lot when it comes to this Japanese delicacy, right from uramakis, Nigiri, sashimi, Carpaccio, and much more. Since we are more into Sushis, we ordered one serving of Smoked salmon roll and loved how it was done. The smoked salmon wrapped into nori seaweed sheets and rice with cucumber is a classic and definitely a must-try.
What else?
Charcoal Aubergine open bao is a snack that just doesn't look great, but also is a delight to dig into. The fried Aubergine with lettuce and other veggies was topped with a generous quantity of orange togarashi mayo and a slightly spicy cheese sauce. It's one messy bite TBH, and we loved every bit of it.
For the mains, you can go ahead with Chicken Katsu curry, which features a very crispy panko chicken cutlet, creamy curry sauce, and of course, rice! We finished our meal with a jar of one of the best Tiramisu cheesecakes that the restaurant claims to have made with the real Italian mascarpone. It was something that left us in awe, and is so well done that you won't stop eating. Order it if you love coffee.
In a nutshell, Yazu is a must-visit if you love Asian food, especially Sushis and Dimsums.
