1. Neeraj Chopra gets Silver Diamond League
Gold medalist Neeraj Chopra breaks his record as he gets Silver at Diamond League meets in Stockholm. On that day, Chopra threw a javelin at 89.94 meters and broke his record of throwing the javelin at 89.30 meters away on June 14. Chopra won Gold in Tokyo Olympics last year.
2. A 21-year-old becomes the youngest sarpanch
Lakshika Dagar, who hails from Ujjain, won the panchayat elections recently and became the youngest Sarpanch in Madhya Pradesh. Dagar is just 21 years old and has won from amongst 8 other candidates from the village to be designated in Chintaman Jawasia gram panchayat.

A total of 16 transgender persons have joined hands to form the 'Rotaract Club of TransMom’ in Coimbatore taking the help of the Tamil Nadu Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown. The organization aims to serve the needs of the transgender community.
4. Preeti Maske sets records after cycling from Manali to Leh in 55 hours
Preeti Maske, who hails from Pune has set a record after cycling from Manali to Leh in just 55 hours. The mother of two covered the distance of 430 km, a route which is considered to be the toughest due to high-altitude terrains and reduced oxygen availability.
5. 4-day work week likely to be introduced in India
The central government is planning to introduce a 4-day work week by making changing labour codes. With the new codes coming into effect, there will be changes in the work days, working hours, PFs, and salaries.
6. House parties banned in Airbnb properties
Airbnb has permanently banned the parties from its listings. Before this, the company has put a temporary ban on parties in holiday rentals given the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also highlighted that it had banned over 6,600 guests over the violation of rules.
