Be it Amitabh Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Rajkumar Rao, or any other celebrity, Priyanka Panwar is turning her face into theirs with her amazing makeup skills, and it will definitely blow your mind!

Taking illusion makeup and celebrity transformation to another level, Priyanka Panwar from Ghaziabad, is leaving us astonished by turning her face into celebrities of popular characters such as Mr. Bean, Jethalal, Harry Potter, Yash from KGF 2, and many more on her feed. She even is a pro at doing illusion makeup and has done some mind-boggling looks like an upside-down head, melting face, trippy face, giraffe nose, and more.

Quitting a full-time job and choosing makeup

"I am a self-taught artist and made my Instagram page to keep my content in one place. After a while, I came across one of Mimi Choy's videos and fell in love with her work. She is an illusion artist from Canada, and I was so fascinated by her look that I started re-creating them", said Priyanka.

But before getting into makeup, Priyanka was busy doing her full-time job in regulatory affairs. She holds a master's degree in Pharmacy and had a stable job back then. "It was nice but I didnt enjoy it. And since my family has always been into business, I got this urge to start something on my own", she told Local Samosa. After planning for a while, she finally decided to go ahead with makeup and enrolled in a basic makeup course. With time she started doing creative looks and later was introduced to illusion makeup through social media and loved the concept.

Celebrity transformations

However, it was the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput that made her start her celebrity transformation journey. After hearing the news of his suicide, Priyanka wanted to give him a tribute and thus ended up turning her face into Sushant's. "It felt like a personal loss, and I felt like doing something. The transformation took around 6 to 7 hours to complete. So, even though it was my first try, and there were no tutorials, but it worked out well", she added.

After this, Priyanka did many more such celebrity transformations, and the list is quite long. You will find Virat Kohli, the Money Heist Cast, Bappi Lahiri, Rajkumar Rao, Allu Arjun, Guru Randhawa, Kylie Jenner, Billy Porter, Diljit Dosanjh, Milkha Singh, and many more on her feed. Her work is impressive, and Netflix even approached her to recreate Kay Kay Menon’s character look from the movie ‘Ray’, and Chris Hemsworth for the Tudum festival. "My favourite ones are the ones that have turned out to be really good and includes APJ Abdul kalam, Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram Batra, Jethalal, and the ones that I did for my late grandmother", she added.

Turning herself into her grandmother: Maa this is for you!

Priyanka's transformation to honour her grandmother is another masterpiece, and the video had gone viral in no time. "She was like my mother. Every time I would go out, I used to hug her, and she would kiss my forehead. It was our ritual and something I'll always cherish. It was around 11 in the night when she got multiple heart attacks and couldn't survive. I always wanted to do her makeup, but that never happened and thus decided to give her a tribute through my transformation", she said.

Other than these fabulous transformations, Priyanka is equally amazing at doing illusion makeup, and some of her looks are just too good to be true. She likes both, but she says illusion is where her heart is. However, she doesn't record the process of these videos and uses it as her me-time.

"I find transformations a little more challenging. One small mistake and it doesn't work. There have been times when I had to give up. I remember doing a transformation of a veteran celebrity and working on it the entire day. My hands were paining and yet it didn't come out nicely. The face structure plays an important role and if the face cut and nose shape don't match mine, the outcome won't be great", she told us.

What goes behind it all?

There's also a lot of preparation and effort that goes behind each and every look. Right from accessories, to wigs, lenses, and outfits, to correct products, each look demands specifications, and the key behind their accuracy is capturing the details. So, it usually takes 7-8 hours every time. "It's all in the details. Illusion is about creating a 3D image on your face that should look real. And that's why, I go behind every fine line and every wrinkle. So, I pick photos that are not photoshopped and try my best to draw as many details as possible. ", said Priyanka.
