With over 450 paratha varieties, chaat, and vegetarian dishes, Only Parathas offers a scrumptious and heavenly meal.
Make sure you haven't eaten anything if you are planning a meal at Only Parathas in Khar as the chefs here take their food game very seriously and that in a very generous quantity. This place offers delicious Indian food, and even though the name says Only Parathas, there's a lot more to dig in. The ambiance is warm, and the decor is done right. Pick the tables near the live counters or enjoy your food in the outside seating area, which is lush green and very well lit. If you are someone who prefers AC, head to their very gorgeous indoor seating section, perfect for humid afternoons. We recently had a lip-smacking lunch here, and here's what we suggest you order.
Chaat shaat
We decided to start light with a plate of Tokri Chaat, which remained our favourite until the very end. The crispy potato basket was loaded with chilled Dahi, chickpeas, potatoes, and sweet chutney. It was one of the best we'd say and would give 5/5 for its overall taste and quantity. Up next was the piping hot Chole Bhature! The size of the bhature was the highlight as it was massive, and watching it puffed up in the huge kadhai gave us legit foodgasm. However, it would have been even better if the chef had used white chana instead of black ones. But overall, this dish was pretty tempting, and the well-cooked Bhatura will always be remembered.

Parathas and more
The menu offers great paratha options ranging from healthy, Jain, and even fusion parathas like cheese and corn. Since, for us, nothing beats the classic Aloo Paratha, we placed an order for that. The Aloo Matar paratha was thick and was served piping hot with dal, Chola, raita, onion, and Mirchi ka achar. Though it was flavourful, we felt there could have been more aloo filling.
We also tried the Lazeez paratha, which came loaded with the filling of Paneer, cheese, and coriander. This one was on point and melted our hearts with its cheesilicious flavour. Before you judge us for not ordering lassi with the parathas, let us stop you right there because we did! The lassi was perfectly sweet, but we missed the malai on top.
Ending our filling meal on a happy note, we ordered a plate garma garam jalebis with Rabdi. The chefs at Only Parathas are super talented and we were quite delighted to see how the jalebis were made. The Rabdi deserves a special shout-out as it was thick, creamy, and perfectly sweet.
Our experience was genuinely foodilicious at Only Parathas, and we are definitely planning a meal next time. Local Samosa gives this restaurant 9.5/10 for its comforting decor and satiating food.
