Directed by the legendary Yash Chopra, this movie did make us cry our hearts out. A visual spectacle, Jab Tak Hai Jaan was a beautiful story and starred SRK, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif. We still are not over from the scene in which SRK appears riding a Royal Enfield across a field and how hot he looked. This barren land is located at the Pangong Lake in Ladakh and was a perfect backdrop.

2. Veer Zara, Wagah Border, Amritsar, and New Delhi

They don't make films like Veer Zara anymore :( Well, this movie was iconic in every sense and portrayed a love story in the most beautiful and tragic way. Right from the songs, the dialogues, and the storyline, everything was just perfect. The ending sequence of the film shows the reunion of Veer and Zaara, which was shot at the Wagah border, while the court scenes and the iconic hug of the couple were shot at Khalsa College in Amritsar and Purana Qila in New Delhi.

3. Swades, Wai

This movie was a class apart and was actually shot at the NASA headquarters. But the very scenic poster and the scene where Mohan takes the boat ride in the movie takes place at the Dhom Dam, which is an earth fill and gravity dam on the Krishna river near Wai in Maharashtra.

4. Dear Zindagi, Chennai Express & Dilwale, Goa

All these three movies are a few of the favourites of almost every SRK fan and show how versatile SRK is. Dilwale had many scenes near the Panjim church, and it was one of the major shooting locations. On the other hand, ‘Dear Zindagi’ featured many scenes in the renaissance three-bungalow enclave in Salvador do Mundo as well as the Benaulim Beach and Morjim Beach.

The epic comedy Chennai Express was set entirely in the Western Ghats and parts of the Nilgiri Mountains. The scene where Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika meet her father after he stops the train at the village was shot in front of Dudhsagar Waterfalls.

DDLJ is one of those films that will always be fun to watch and keep us hooked no matter how many times we've watched it. It was an iconic movie and is still running in the Maratha Mandir. In the movie, the famous song Tujhe Dekha To and the even more famous hug of Kajol and SRK was shot at the mustard fields in Gurgaon and not Punjab.

The ending sequence of the film, which we still adore the most was shot at Apta railway station on the Panvel-Roha route between Rasayani and Jite railway stations, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. This same station was featured in the Oscar-winner Slumdog Millionaire later.

6. Asoka, Madhya Pradesh

This Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shah Rukh Khan starrer epic historical drama film didn't just have a good storyline but also some memorable songs. San Sananan and Raat Ka Nasha were shot at the Apsara Falls in Pachmarhi and Dhuandhar Falls in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

7. Dil Se, Tamil Nadu

Dil Se remains our all-time favourite and has all the right elements that are needed for a good film. It was high on visuals, the songs were iconic, and the storytelling was exquisite. However, Chaiyya Chaiyya will probably always be the first song to come to our minds when we talk about Dil Se. A lyrical and musical masterpiece, this song was shot on top of the Ooty train of the Nilgiri Mountain Railway in Tamil Nadu. The song Jiya Jale was done at Athirappilly Falls, Alappuzha backwaters, Periyar National Park, Villangan Hills, and Periyar Lake in Kerala.

8. Main Hoo Na, Darjeeling

Main Hoon Na was different and is definitely a must-watch movie of SRK. The college life shown in the movie was pretty cool and was the dream of almost every SRK fan. The first half was just a lot of fun to watch, and most of the scenes were shot at St. Paul's in Darjeeling, which is over 150 years old school and not a college.

9. Rab Ne Jodi Bana Di Jodi, Amritsar

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi didn't only give us one of SRK's best performances but also the very talented Anushka Sharma. This movie was way too cute and had some of the best songs. The filming of several sequences of this movie took place in Khalsa College, while The Golden Temple was also one of the highlights of the film.
