Immaculate Conception church
This is one of the most famous churches in Panaji. The chapel was first built in 1541, to serve the religious needs of Portuguese sailors. Later, in 1609 the small chapel was replaced by the present-day large church. The white-walled church with a magnificent structure alongside a hill is perfect for celebrating Christmas by attending mass.

The Basilica of Bom Jesus
The Basilica of Bom Jesus or Borea Jezuchi Bajilika is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This church is more than 408 years old. The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. On your visit to Goa, you can definitely witness the heritage of this church.

St. Clara's church

Se Cathedral
A part of the World Heritage Site, Se Cathedral is another church to visit during the time of Christmas. The Se Cathedral was built to commemorate the victory of the Portuguese under Afonso de Albuquerque over a Muslim army. The church also has a beautiful garden in front of it. You can enjoy the festival along with a classic view.
