This newly opened two-floor restaurant bar has a beautiful indoor and outdoor ambience, and gorgeous blue decor, and offers vegetarian food from cuisines like Italian and Mexican.
If you are a vegetarian and looking for a perfect dining spot, Millo in Lower Parel is here for you. With luxurious and elegant decor, a toothsome menu, colourful paintings all around, and eye-catching interiors, this vegetarian restaurant ticks all the boxes and is at the moment one of our favourites.
What to bite?
Millo offers a good mix of Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and also Indian food, and there's a lot to choose from. We started off with a plate of Tempura sushi and Parmesan Churros. The sushi was refreshing and loaded with crunchy vegetables like carrots and bell peppers.
The Parmesan Churros weren't sweet and were served with a thick cheese dip. It was something different but as our tastebuds are used to eating churros with chocolate, this couldn't hit the spot. But yes, if you like cheese, go ahead and order this!

Up next was Millo's signature pizza. It was tangy and had a kick of spice with a nice crispy thin-crust. It was one of the best pizzas we tried this year. For the mains, we ordered a bowl of Naples Panini and Tsunami pot from the Italian and Mexican sections respectively.
The pesto pasta was sheer bliss and was perfectly chewy and creamy. The pot rice had a very interesting presentation. It was served like a pull-me-up cake and was fun to eat as well. Order this if you love tangy flavours and sauté vegetables.
To end our meal on a sweeter note, we ordered Lotus Biscoff Tea Cake which was worth remembering. The coffee ice cream was smooth, perfectly sweet, and just what you need from a scoop of good ice cream. The teacake was soft and complemented the ice cream and the biscoff. We loved every bit of this dessert.
In a nutshell, Millo in Lower Parel is a good spot for a happy date, a friendly brunch, and even a family dinner. The food is great, the coffee is fab, and ambience is like the cherry on top of the cake. Plan a visit because team Local loved it!
