Padmaavat - Chittorgarh Fort, Udaipur
The film was shot in multiple locations in Rajasthan like the Chittorgarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort and some parts of Maharashtra. But Chittorgarh Fort holds great significance as the movie is based on the story of Rani Padmini who is said to be lived in this Padmini Mahal which is to the south of the Fort.
Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela - Udaipur
Yet another film by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh which was a box office hit was shot in the lake city Udaipur. The scene where Deepika is taken in a car is shot on the Gangaur Ghat and another scene where Ranveer dives into the lake when she is been taken is shot in Lake Pichola adjacent to the ghat.

Gehraiyaan
Gehraiyaan is yet another film that surprised us with its scenic locations. The Alibaugh Villa where Deepika lives is not actually in Alibaug but in Goa. The beautiful property is Ahilya by the Sea - a boutique hotel in the Nerul area. We are sure you must have manifested to visit the villa after watching the movie.
Chennai Express

Major of the film was shot in Jammu & Kashmir. The sequence of Naina and Bunny’s first day in Manali was shot near Hadimba Temple. The song Shubhan Allah was filmed in the snow-clad Pahalgam, in Jammu, and the trek Kongdori area of Kashmir.
Piku
Piku reminds one to plan a quick road trip. The movie is as insightful as funny and shows a khatta-meetha bond between a father and daughter. The movie is shot in Kolkata and it perfectly depicts the beauty of the city. The major shots were taken at Howrah Bridge, Shyambazar, and Bishop Lefroy Road.
