Amazonia Mumbai is all set to give you a tour of South America's rainforest with its tranquil interior, spacious seating, and delicious food.
Amazonia Mumbai is a rainforest-themed restaurant in BKC, Bandra. It gives a tropical vibe with its interiors that has shrubs, herbs, plants, and statues of various animals. It has a spacious dining area with various sections and serves Thai, Asian, Japanese, Italian, and Chinese cuisines.
About the Ambience
This place is the perfect Instagram-able place with its spacious dining area and various sections. On one corner, there is a swing where you can click pictures and chill. On another end is a wall with beautiful artifacts like pots and glassware. Many other sections, like the one with plants, animals, and lamps, are so pretty for your photo sessions.
Here for the Food
After you are done with the photo sessions, you can order some delectable cuisines to savor. They have an option of Asian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian dishes that are specially curated by Chef James Biaka. We ordered the Cha Chu Cottage cheese as a starter from the Thai menu, which was a perfect start to the meal. On the other end, Kimchi Yakisoba was a sweet, spicy Japanese stir-fried noodle with Kimchi sauce.

After finishing the noodles, we went for sushi and dumplings. Avocado and Cucumber mixed with black sesame seeds and cream cheese gave a perfect bite of California roll. The New York cheese cream dumplings were cheesy and had an intense flavour of clove. Next on the table was Four Cheese Ravioli, which was served with a sweet sauce. Nasa Misu Dongaku was a tender boiled eggplant slice with sweet and savoury miso sauce.
Chef's Special
This dish arrived on our table, which we did not order but wish we had in the first place. The Chef recommended his specialty dish 'Original Guacamole.' It was made in front of us in a stone mortar. The waiter crushed the avocado, added some vegetables like tomato and onions, and topped it with coriander and a dash of lime. The taste was as fascinating as the process of making it.
All things sweet
They have a bar too, that serves some tangy and refreshing drinks. For cocktails, we went for 'African Witch,' which was vodka topped with guava juice. Norisan, a medley of orange and pineapple juice shaken with passion fruit puree, is a must-try for mocktail lovers. We had their best seller 'Black Stone' (hazelnut mouse with rice crispy crunch) for dessert and couldn't have asked for a better sweet indulgence to end the meal.
