Be it their jewellery or gorgeous outfits, these Indian celebrities and content creators are rocking their looks with these homegrown brands at Cannes 2023 in the most stylish way.
Cannes is one of the most iconic film festivals and one thing that everybody looks forward to the most is the outfits in which the celebs will show up. Catching up with the vibe and elegance of this festival, our celebrities and content creators are also no less than others and are bagging headlines for their stunning picks this year as well. And, so here's a list of homegrown brands at Cannes 2023 that were worn by our stars and deserve appreciation.
1. Mrunal Thakur in Falguni Shane Peacock, Dhruv Kapoor, and Studio Verandah
Debuting like a true Desi Girl, Mrunal Thakur chose this stunning lavender net saree and bralette from Falguni Shane Peacock and looked like a dream. With sequin embellishments, an ornate brooch, and a see-through silhouette, these 6 yards of happiness draped just right and looked great on our Sita.
A completely opposite look, this shimmery jacket, laced pants, and swimsuit combo is our new favourite! The dazzling jacket and pants are from Dhruv Kapoor, while the swimsuit hails from Studio Verandah. With bold eyeliner, nude makeup, and soft curls, Mrunal is definitely nailing this attire.
2. Sara Ali Khan in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla
Bringing in a royal vibe, Sara Ali Khan made sure her debut looks were as pretty as her. Both outfits are made by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and are equally stunning. The first one is an exquisite hand-embroidered ivory lehenga that has great detailing. The other one is our personal favourite and is an off-white satin trailing saree bordered with black and white tiny beads and crystals.

3. Vijay Verma in Gaurav Gupta
After stealing hearts with his power-packed performances, Vijay Verma is now making us go wow with his all-black tuxedo from Gaurav Gupta and that dragonfly brooch. He looks totally dapper and we can't wait to see what next he wears.
4. Masoom Minawala in Lion Jewellers and Radhika Agarwal Studio
Killing it once again at Cannes, fashion creator Masoom Minawala wore this elegant black and white bodycon dress by UAE-based couture designer MarMar Halim as well as this cool skirt and jacket from Roberto Cavalli. But what we loved, even more, was her jewellery! The golden statement earrings are from Radhika Agarwal, while the diamond choker is from Lion Jewellers.
Masoom's third outfit was a green lehenga skirt with a 3.5-meter-long trail and a full-sleeve bejwelled blouse. This ensemble is from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and took 250 hours to be made. With same-toned earrings featuring emerald stones, this was one fab lewk we say.
5. Dolly Singh
Walking the carpet consecutive for the second time, Dolly Singh left us in awe with her pearl-embellished conical blouse and sarong skirt with a 3.5 meters long ruffled trail by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The designer duo had taken their inspiration for this beauty from Zeenat Aman’s Satyam Shivam Sundaram.
6. Sudha Reddy
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Sudha Reddy also graced the red carpet with a silver gown made by Neeta Lulla which was paired with a veil and she looked great! Wearing another piece of the designer, she wore this black and beige dress with a coat and gloves at the Cannes Luncheon!
7. Diana Penty
Diana Penty in this bling golden co-ord set by Falguni Shane Peacock was definitely one of our favourites and was very well carried by the Cocktail actress. The outfit featured red and blue stones which were complemented well by the golden earrings from Viange and rings from Zariin Jewelry.
8. Manushi Chillar
Canning it like a pro, Manushi Chillar and her looks were on point and she definitely understood the assignment. The first picture is her 3rd look from the French film festival where she can be seen wearing a red ponies printed strapless gown by Gauri & Nainika. The second outfit is from a homegrown brand Studio Moonrey and is a black crochet full-sleeve dress with a collar.
9. Ranveer Allahbadia
Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps wore this navy blue bespoke geometric suit from Karrtik D and looked all fresh and crisp on the carpet. It was a Cannes debut for Ranveer who is a YouTuber and motivational speaker and we think he did a pretty good job with that.
For the next day, Ranveer was up for some experiments we'd say as he chose this pastel sherwani by Telon Santacruz and paired it with a light pink jacket. He posted the photos with long poetry on his Instagram.
10. Shivani Bafna
Digital creator Shivani Bafna who is known for her styling videos and reviews was also invited to the prestigious festival and she rocked her debut with stunning red gown designed by Vaishali S. Bafna paired her outfit with pearl earrings from Anayah Jewellery and a red DIY-ed clucth with a QR code from Clutch-It which after scanning gives access to a letter written by the Indian-American content creator.
11. Kusha Kapila
One of country's wittiest and funniest content creators Kusha Kapila is also a Cannes attendee and she posted her look on Instagram wearing a classy custom made one-piece from Abhishek Sharma Studio. This white dress was dripping pearls and a vintage vibe. Kusha finished her look with a gorgeous hair accessory by Amama Jewels.
12. Ruhi Dosani
" KANDivali ho ya Cannes, your girl made it man" was Ruhi's caption on Instagram where she shared her debut look wearing a 3D Structured Jacket by Amit Aggarwal. The jacket was woven with the cords of rubber and embroidered Plisse detailing and was paired with Svarovski earrings and black handcrafted leather Oxford shoes. We think she nailed it, what do you say?
13. Niharika Nm
Niharika Nm looked like a legit fairy in this red hot gown by Shantanu Nikhil. The ruffled ensemble featured an exaggerated silhouette and was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania. Her curled hair and dewy makeup also looked great.
