From Exotic Locales to Iconic Backdrops: Exploring the mesmerizing movie locations of Ranveer Singh Films!

Ranveer Singh has given blockbuster films to Bollywood, and some of them will always remain iconic for multiple reasons, cinematography being one of them. And that's why here's a list of Indian places where some of his best films were shot.

Love him or hate him, but there's no denying that he is one of the most talented actors of our generation. With impressive filmography, memorable songs, and mind-boggling acting, he has come a long way, and we simply love him. If you are also his fan, then you should check this list that talks about places where some of our favourite Ranveer Singh films were shot and maybe plan a visit, too.

1. Lootera, Dalhousie and West Bengal

This critically acclaimed movie will always be one of our favorites and the songs will make us wanna dance and sob at the same time. The movie was partly based on author O. Henry's book 'The Last Leaf' and is a must-watch. The song Zinda and almost all the scenes in the second half were shot at Kalatop Forest guest house in Dalhousie. The initial scenes of the film that revolves around Varun and Pakhi's love story were shot in Purulia and Itachunga Rajbari in West Bengal, including songs like Sawar Lu and Shikayatein.

2. Simbaa, Goa and Kolhapur

This action-packed film featured Ranveer as a smart cop and we loved his performance. The movie was mainly filmed in Goa and Kolhapur, while some extra sequences were also shot in Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The popular song "Simmba Aala Re Aala Simmba Aala" was filmed at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and later became a big hit.

3. Band Baja Baraat, Bikaner

They don't make films like Band Baaja Baraat anymore! This romantic comedy film was a big hit, and bread pakode ki Qasam will forever be revered. Ranveer and Anushka gave head-on performances, and we are still not over their chemistry. The upbeat song 'Dum dum dum mast hai' was shot in Lalgarh Palace, Bikaner, while some scenes were also shot at director Maneesh Sharma's alma mater, Hans Raj College, on the University campus.

4. Gully Boy, Dharavi, Mumbai

One of the finest performances of Ranveer, this movie was based on the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy and was shot in the city of dreams, our very own Mumbai, at a place called Dharavi. The way the narrow lanes or the galis of the Dharavi were shown in the starting sequences as well as throughout the film, make it a visual treat.

5. Ram Leela, Udaipur

The movie where it all began for DeepVeer was Goliyon ki Ras Leela, Ram Leela, which was not just a hit but was also a reason the married couple got closer. Some parts of the film were shot at City Palace, Udaipur. The scene where Ram and Leela argue before they get married takes place on the steps of the Ambrai Ghat, giving a panoramic and eerie background to the entire scene. 

6. Baji Rao Mastani, Rajasthan

Baji Rao ne Mastani see Mohabbat ki hai Ayyashi Nahi! This magnum opus of Sanjay Leela Bhansali was a hit for several reasons. Fabulous songs, a great background score, magnificent sets, and much more. Ranveer Singh nailed his character, while Priyanka and Deepika won hearts for their epic performances and dance. The song Mohe Rang Do Laal was shot at multiple locations in Jaipur, including Amber Palace, while some of the scenes were also filmed in the Shaniwar Wada. The last scene where Baji Rao hallucinates was shot near Jaipur. 

7. Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl

We think this movie is underrated and deserves much more appreciation. This multi-starrer film featured Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Dipannita Sharma, and Aditi Sharma, with Ranveer Singh playing the role of a fraudster who pretends to fall in love with women and cons them. The last part of the movie, where Ishika finally meets Ricky to con him, was shot in a hotel in South Goa. Some of the shots were also filmed in Connaught Place, Barakhamba Road, in New Delhi.
