Bohoba in Malad, Mumbai: Where Delectable Food Meets Decked-Up Bohemian Ambience

Amid the bustle in the Infiniti mall, Malad, Bohoba is a safe corner for reading books and devouring flavoursome food in aesthetic decor.

In the continuous pursuit of captivating customers through aesthetics in today's dining landscape, including restaurants, cafes, and even bars, Bohoba stands out as an addition that truly lives up to expectations. During a recent visit, we explored this newly-opened restaurant located on the mezzanine floor of Infinity Mall in Malad. Serving a delightful blend of Italian, Mexican, and Mediterranean cuisines, we found ourselves enchanted by the twilight-tinged yet sparkling ambience. After spending an afternoon here, our spirits were lifted by the experience.

Bohoba, as the name suggests, is embellished with a bohemian design that incorporates vibrant and diverse artistic elements. Upon entering, we were greeted by a vast bookshelf filled with an array of books spanning nearly every genre. The bar itself was adorned with oversized lamps radiating a soothing yellow glow, along with cane-crafted decorations. Another scenery that turned out to be quite appealing to us was indeed, even if few, the fresh and the original plants kept inside, which is a unique element for a bar had it not been for the thematic décor. The bar houses a seating area on the right side with the large glass overlooking the bustling floor of food outlets while on the left, the wooden chairs and tables are arranged on a checkered floor, providing a charming setting.

Palatable food

As we aimed to keep our meal on the lighter side, we selected a few items from Bohoba's menu and started with Commando Fries that, although, was ideal for a perfect snack, came spicy enough to only suit people with the high-spice preference. We proceeded with spicy-sweet blend of Cowbouys Wings paired with Blue Cheese Dressings that was luscious to its core. Chicken and Mushroom Pizza which was just a bite of paradise, and we relished every slice of it. Another delight was the Boho Sour, a perfect mix of Whiskey, Tropical fruit, Sichuan Pepper Shrub.  Not to be forgotten that Newyork Cheesecake helped us call it a day at Bohoba that we could not decide if was more admirable to look at or appetising to gulp in.

While Bohoba remains more than standard in the taste it brings to its dishes, it does not let one down owing to its endearing and elegant vibes. But more than that, we found ourselves in immense pleasure to come across the thoughtfulness of the place with respect to their restroom areas divided into – ‘He’, ‘She’, and ‘They’. Additionally, Bohoba offers a haven for book enthusiasts, as the bookshelf is complemented by tables and chairs, setting it apart from the regular seating areas and the bustling crowd In a nutshell, more than you would like to visit Bohoba for food, you would like to grace your presence at the place for it being quite Instagrammble and for the cozy reading time.
