New Update
Call Me Bae

The trailer for ‘Call Me Bae’ had us instantly hooked on the fashion. The series, likened to an Indian ‘Emily in Paris’, features Ananya Panday showcasing a range of standout styles. From luxurious nightwear to sharp business casuals, each outfit makes a statement. After just a week on OTT, ‘Call Me Bae’ is already being compared to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and ‘Emily in Paris’. Credit goes to stylist Priyanka Kapadia Badani for seamlessly blending high fashion with real-life vibes. The fashion in this series is considered to be truly top-notch by fashion experts and fashionistas alike. Here are some of our favourite Ananya Panday looks from the show that you can get inspired by.

Pink Gown Glam

Call Me Bae

Ananya Panday wore a custom Gauri & Nainika pink Drop Waisted High-Low gown. And we can’t take our eyes off it! The plunge neckline with the high-low hem is a dream date outfit for sure. The neck has a white detail around the seams which makes it stand out. We found the Asra Sweetheart Neck Draped Trail Gown in pink satin that will do the trick. It features a bodycon corset, thigh-high slit and draped gathered trail.

A Shining Example of Fashion

Call Me Bae

The Mist Crossover Panels Gown by Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna that Ananya wore at a Parisian gala that seems to allude to Le Bal des Débutantes, where Panday also debuted in real life, is stunning. It’s in a muted shade with sequins embellished all over. The cutout details at the sides make for a pretty silhouette. The Bronze Embroidered Crossover Maxi Dress by Vyasa By Urvi comes close to the vision. It is in soft net fabric and shimmery crepe base with aari work embroidery.

News of the Day

Call Me Bae

For her first day at work in a newsroom, Ananya’s character Bae dresses in a newspaper print coat. How quaint is that! The original is from a brand called Yohji Yamamoto. And you can copy the look with the Newspaper Printed Coat by Aura. Made with dola silk, this coat comes in a set with solid black pants. The goal with this inspired-outfit is to get the print right and this does the job.

Red Hot

Call Me Bae

The red-hot set worn by Bae in Call Me Bae is inspired by the vibrant La Tomatina festival. From the brand Mala and Kinnary, the frilly, tiered two-piece is fun and vibrant. The off-shoulder look, with ruffles all over, makes it a delightful visual. The tiered, frilled skirt gives it a dance-floor-worthy appeal. The Red Organza Fish-Cut Lehenga Set by Keosha is a desi version of this inspiration that has a similar skirt and in the same shade of tomato with embellishments!

Ice Cold Blue

Call Me Bae

Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania, this is by far Ananya's most eye-catching outfit in Call Me Bae. The hot bikini immediately stands out as Bella lounges in the pool with a drink in her hand. The stunning two-piece is the Neptune bikini from the brand Sa Diosa which features a wrap-around top and a strap detail on the bottom. And Lea Clothing’s Dory Ruched Cross-Back Swimsuit in blue, a solid match, features ruched detailing across the bodice.
