While the condition of the handloom weavers might remain the same, the industry has always seen the change in terms of patterns, and styles that appear on the finished products with the handloom fabrics. From clothing to mats, carpets, rugs, bedsheets, cushion covers, and other handloom articles, this story aims to figure out what’s the trends for the products.

Anant Sethi explained, "In terms of trending patterns and designs, intricate embroidery is a standout element. This form of embellishment adds a layer of sophistication and intricate beauty to garments, making them suitable for both casual and formal occasions."

The choice of fabric plays a crucial role in the appeal of handloom products. Comfortable yet fashionable materials such as chanderi, silk chanderi, pure cotton, and pure organza are celebrated for their lightweight, breathable qualities, ideal for the Indian climate. Summer collections highlight soothing warm whites and soft pastels, while winter collections feature rich, vibrant colours. Additionally, velvet collections for festive and winter seasons promise luxurious comfort and style.

"The art in the handloom industry is also evolving, with a renewed focus on sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The industry is dedicated to minimising its environmental footprint through sustainable materials and processes, exemplifying a seamless merger of sophisticated style and cultural heritage," he simplified.

In the handloom industry, the interplay of tradition and innovation is driving exciting trends in patterns, elements, designs, and art across fabric, decor, and other products.

Floral patterns and geometric designs are particularly prominent, offering a fresh take on classic styles," stated Ayushi Dewan.

There is a significant shift towards breathable, sustainable materials such as organic cotton and hand-spun silk. These fabrics ensure comfort in the Indian climate and align with the global movement towards eco-friendly and sustainable fashion.

We are embracing this trend by creatively repurposing leftover materials, reducing waste, and contributing to a more sustainable future. Our collection caters to the modern Indian woman, focusing on inclusivity and versatility. We offer a wide range of sizes and styles, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
