One of the most popular and loved cricketers and former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has received a lot of appreciation on the field and for his life-turning decisions. The 42-year-old cricketer from Jharkhand, Dhoni has also made several investment decisions and has supported the Indian start-ups with the funding. Tagda Raho

As the culture of practicing Mudgars and other Indian equipment gets back into the Indian fitness industry, MS Dhoni decided to give them a boost and invested recently in Tagda Raho, a Bengaluru-based fitness startup to revive traditional Indian workouts. Rishabh Malhotra-led brand mixes program that combines traditional Indian equipment with modern training methods. While Dhoni invested in the brand last year in November, the funding details have been confidential.

Garuda Aerospace

MS Dhoni invested in this Chennai-based drone startup Garuda Aerospace in March 2022. It is the first drone company in India to receive dual DGCA approvals for manufacturing small and medium-category drones, along with pilot training. With a presence in over 400 districts, Garuda Aerospace, started by Agnishwar Jayaprakash currently holds a staggering 50% market share in the Precision Agri Drone market. Recently, the brand also opened its first drone showroom in Chennai.

Khatabook

The former captain had invested in Khatabook in 2020. The brand, founded by Ravish Naresh provides utility solutions to the 6.3 crore MSME sector. This SaaS company helps small businesses to increase efficiency and profitability through safe, secure, intuitive, along mobile-first digital solutions for financial management.

HomeLane

Last year, Dhoni invested in HomeLane, a home interior company that guarantees interior delivery within 45 days. Operating in 16 cities, the company offers services for design, delivery, installation, and clean-up after installation. The brand, founded by Srikanth Iyer, has a strategic partnership with Dhoni, who is both an equity partner and the brand ambassador for three years.

7InkBrews

The food and beverage company got MS Dhoni as an investor last year. Founded by Mohit Bhagchandani and Aditi Mistry, the brand's special edition of products, Copter 7 was inspired by Dhoni's helicopter shot and the jersey number, 7. The brand offers various food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

EMotorad

The favourite of many, Dhoni has also invested in electric cycle maker EMotorad. The Pune-based brand founded by Kunal Gupta has secured a strategic investment from Dhoni. EMotorad operates a network of over 350 dealers across India and over 10 experience centers and has the support of the cricketers over their sustainable mode of operation.

The Gurugram-based company that offers buyers a wide range of pre-owned cars got Dhoni's investment in 2019. The investment was part of a series D funding round, though, the amount was never disclosed. Founded by Vikram Chopra, Mehul Agrawal, Gajendra Jangid, and Ruchit Agarwal, this auto-tech company has also been operational outside the country.
