Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has created history by becoming the first Indian to be featured on the cover of Billboard Canada. The inaugural print edition of the magazine will include Diljit's exclusive content from his Dil-Luminati tour that he is currently doing.

UP government plans to deploy 37,000 cops for Kumbh Mela's security

To guarantee the safety of thousands of pilgrims, the UP government has unveiled a thorough seven-tier security strategy ahead of the historic Maha Kumbh Mela, which is scheduled to begin on January 13 of next year. As part of the plan, over 37,000 police officers will be stationed around the fair area, backed by sophisticated technology and close agency communication. To improve security, the fairgrounds will be split into 25 sectors, 10 zones, 56 police stations, and 155 posts.

Indian archer Deepika Kumari won the silver medal in the Archery World Cup final with a 0-6 loss against Chinese Li Jiaman in the final in Tlaxcala, Mexico. With this, she won her sixth World Cup Final medal at this prestigious tournament. Previously, she has won 4 silvers and 1 bronze after appearing in 8 finals. 

Chennai beach lights up with bioluminescent waves

On Friday night, the people of Chennai saw a breathtaking occurrence at the East Coast Road (ECR) beach. Social media users were astounded to see videos of the unusual sight of blue bioluminescent waves flooding the platform. Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss shared the video of the rare occurrence on X, writing, “I just now enjoyed the mesmerising Fluorescent waves at ECR beach!!"

New Delhi on alert after blast in school

The National capital is on high alert following a strong explosion on Sunday morning that tore through the wall of a CRPF school in Rohini's Prashant Vihar neighbourhood. To determine the cause of the explosion and find the offenders, a multi-agency investigation is in progress. Authorities are also looking into a potential connection between the attack and Khalistan, a senior official told PTI.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has been appointed as the 'National Ambassador' to protect cyber security in India after the increasing cases of deepfake. She has been given this responsibility by the 'Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center' (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs to promote and create awareness about cyber security. For the unversed, Rashmika was also a victim of the deepfake scam.
