Talking about places, how can we forget the beauty of Dal Lake, the summer capital, Pahalgam, Betaab Valley, Kulgam that was shown in the movie? The scene depicting Heer and Jordan dancing on ‘Yeh Chaand Sa Roshan Chehra’ was also shot at Dal Lake.
4. Rohtang, Himachal Pradesh - Jab We Met

The lives of Veera and Mahabir, the lead characters of Highway take a beautiful turn as their bus takes a turn to Spiti in Himachal Pradesh! This beautiful transition comes as an added perfection in the movie shot by Imtiaz Ali. Another instance where the stiffness of Mahabir turns into cordial behaviour with a smile in the movie is beautifully showcased here in Spiti symbolising the transitions from coldness.
